This is a lovely bright and spacious two-bedroom apartment. The flat is on the ground floor with canals on two sides and large communal courtyard garden on the third side. There are canal views from all windows which is most unusual in Venice. The main bedrooms has a “kingsize” double bed (1.6m). The second bedroom has two standard single beds and leads out onto the courtyard garden. In addition the apartment has a good-sized sitting/dining room with an adjoining fully fitted modern kitchen. There is one bathroom which has a bath (with shower), toilet, bidet, basin and washing machine.
Calle de la Madona is situated in Dorsoduro the sestiere (district) which occupies much of Venice on the left side of the Grand Canal. It is an easy walk to Piazzale Roma the arrival point for most people into Venice. The area is quiet and residential but also with some shops, bars and restaurants.
