This is ‘bed and breakfast’ accommodation in an old Venetian palazetto in the historic centre of Venice. Although dating back to the fifteenth century the house has been extensively modernised in the last few years to modern standards whilst still retaining many Venetian features such as ‘travi visti’ (exposed beams) and wonderful terrazzo, marble floors and art works. The palazetto is privately owned and guests have access to the public parts which include the large salon and dining room where they can have tea, coffee & biscuits at all times. Guests also have use of a small private courtyard garden. Bedrooms are double or twin with private or ensuite bathrooms. There is air-conditioning in the bedrooms.
The house is situated in the sestiere (district) of Santa Croce, quite close to Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia station which are the main entrance points to Venice, so arrival and departure is very straightforward. All tourist attractions are easily accessible either on foot or by public waterbus (vaporetto).
