Situated in a wonderful location, just off Fondamenta Bragadin, a few yards from the popular canal San Vio in the residential heart of Dorsoduro, this area has always been popular because it is relatively quiet and peaceful, away from the mass tourism that blights the small streets (calle) around St. Marks and Rialto. Still this part of Dorsoduro is very close to main attractions such as Academia, the Guggenheim and the famous baroque church Santa Maria della Salute. In the other direction a few steps away is Zattere the long sunny waterfront which looks out to Guidecca island.
